Parmesan Cheese

Parmesan is a unique cheese with an intense, savory flavor that deepens as it ages. Made traditionally in Italy, it brings not only rich flavor but also nutritional benefits, being high in calcium and protein. Parmesan adds a salty, nutty kick to this cream sauce, enhancing the steak's savory flavor with creamy goodness.
Fresh Thyme
Aromatic and slightly minty, fresh thyme is an herb that’s perfect for cooking with meat and rich sauces. Known for its health benefits, thyme contains powerful antioxidants and vitamin C. In this recipe, it adds a light herbal touch that elevates the depth of flavors in the steak and cream sauce.

Let the Meat Rest – After cooking, let the steak sit briefly for juicier bites.
Add Fresh Herbs at the End – Sprinkle fresh herbs last to keep flavors vibrant.
Thicken the Sauce if Needed – Let it simmer slightly longer if you prefer a thicker sauce.
Serve with Crusty Bread – Perfect for soaking up the delicious cream sauce.
Garnish with Extra Parmesan – A light dusting adds extra richness.

Ingredients:
1.5 lbs (680g) fillet tips , cut into 1-inch cubes (sirloin can also be used)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp olive oil
4 Tbsp unsalted butter, divided
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped, plus more for garnish
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions:
Season steak cubes with salt and pepper (½ tsp each suggested).
Heat olive oil and 2 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until butter is melted.
Add the steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for 3-4 minutes, turning to brown each side, until reaching your desired doneness. Transfer steak to a plate and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 Tbsp butter. Sauté minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and parsley for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic herb butter. Cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
In a separate skillet, melt 1 Tbsp butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper (¼ tsp each recommended). Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
Pour Parmesan garlic cream sauce over steak bites in the skillet, or serve on the side as a dipping sauce. Garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
